Purpose

Being able to process your experiences, what you see around you, is essential in development.  Without knowing how to process something, you cannot possibly know how to react with an appropriate response.  I made a choice almost three years ago now to follow Christ and react in the way that He would to life around me, but I think sometimes I have so much mental junk built up in my head from the world that I process things through a worldly nature and am then surprised when my response to something does not model Christ.  This blog is my attempt to process life through the Christian worldview so that one day maybe more of my responses will be like Christ and fewer and fewer will mirror this world.  It’s funny because I created this blog a few days ago after thinking long and hard about how to follow Christ is truly like flipping the world on its head and starting over, living radically different from the world’s desires.  This idea has been confirmed over and over, using these exact same words, for the last three days so I figure it’s a worthwhile pursuit.  I am not that person yet, but one day I hope to be.  So this is it; my account of my attempt at Christianity.
